Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, engaging Design & Technology lessons across the secondary age range.
* Plan and prepare innovative learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
* Assess student progress comprehensively, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Contribute proactively to the ongoing curriculum development and resource enhancement for the DT department.
* Maintain a safe, organised, and inspiring workshop environment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations.
* Actively participate in departmental meetings, school-wide events, and extra-curricular activities to enrich the school community.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and hold a relevant degree in Design & Technology or a closely related field.
* Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to embark on a fulfilling career, or an experienced teacher (MPS/UPS) seeking a new challenge.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Design & Technology and its diverse applications in the modern world.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and an innate ability to inspire a love of learning in young people.
