About the Role
An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Secondary Supply Teacher to support a progressive school and other mainstream secondary schools across the Royston area of Hertfordshire. This varied role involves delivering engaging lessons as a cover teacher or supervisor across multiple subjects within the secondary phase. We are actively seeking individuals available for an immediate start, offering flexible contracts including daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements, and even permanent opportunities, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £145 to £160.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively across various secondary subjects.
* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment for all pupils.
* Manage classroom behaviour consistently, adhering to school policies and procedures.
* Provide effective cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of learning.
* Adapt quickly to new school environments and different age groups within the secondary phase.
* Foster an inclusive atmosphere where every pupil feels valued and supported.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Possess recent experience working within secondary school settings.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
* Be highly adaptable, reliable, and able to embrace new challenges readily.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for inspiring young minds and facilitating learning.
* Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
