Opportunities range from daily placements and short-term assignments to long-term contracts and even potential permanent positions, starting immediately for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons effectively, ensuring curriculum continuity.
* Manage classroom behaviour robustly, adhering to school policies and procedures.
* Supervise pupils across a range of secondary subjects, promoting engagement.
* Provide a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
* Mark completed work accurately where required, following departmental guidance.
* Maintain clear communication with school staff regarding pupil progress and any concerns.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience as a Cover Supervisor in secondary education.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a calm demeanour.
* You are adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in diverse school settings.
* You hold a genuine passion for fostering pupil development and academic success.
* You are committed to upholding safeguarding principles and promoting pupil welfare.
* You have an enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to apply for a new one.
