Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative and challenging Maths lessons that inspire curiosity and engagement.
• Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning and attainment.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils feel valued.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Maths curriculum and departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values and ethos.
• Utilise a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
About You
• You are a qualified Maths Teacher (ECT, MPS, or UPS) with QTS.
• Possess a genuine passion for mathematics and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to pupils.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, promoting a productive learning atmosphere.
• Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• An effective communicator, able to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Proactive and organised, with a desire to contribute positively to a thriving department.
