About the Role
Join a thriving school in Berkshire as a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant, offering invaluable assistance to a primary-aged pupil with complex needs, which may include ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairment. This vital role provides an opportunity to significantly impact a young person's educational journey, fostering their development within a supportive learning environment. You will be instrumental in helping this pupil thrive, building meaningful connections and contributing to their progress on a daily basis. We are seeking a compassionate and proactive individual ready to embark on a rewarding long-term, permanent, or daily supply commitment, with an immediate start available, offering a competitive daily rate of £85 - £110.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated, tailored 1:1 support to a primary pupil with complex special educational needs.
* Cultivate a strong, positive rapport with the pupil, fostering trust and a secure learning environment.
* Meticulously implement targets and strategies outlined within the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with external therapists and specialists.
* Assist with personal care and mobility as required, ensuring the pupil's comfort and dignity.
* Encourage the pupil's independence and participation
