About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join a highly regarded school in Bedfordshire, within the vibrant East of England region. This permanent, long-term position, commencing in September 2026, presents an exceptional opportunity for a talented educator to inspire secondary pupils in Science, with a strong specialism in Chemistry. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons across key stages, ensuring high academic standards.
* Develop and implement stimulating schemes of work that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
* Cultivate a safe and inspiring learning environment within the laboratory and classroom.
* Collaborate proactively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practice.
* Participate fully in departmental meetings and wider school activities to support the educational vision.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and hold a strong academic background in Chemistry or a related Science subject.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for Chemistry and a commitment to making the subject accessible and exciting for all pupils.
* You are capable of teaching Science across the secondary age range, showcasing your versatility.
* You are an exceptional communicator, able to build strong rapport with both pupils and colleagues.
* You are dedicated to continuous professional growth and reflectiveness in your teaching practice.
* You are an ECT, MPS, or UPS level teacher, seeking a rewarding career step within a supportive setting.
