About the Role
A well-established school is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join its supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the daily educational experience of secondary school pupils. You will be instrumental in maintaining a positive learning atmosphere across various subjects, ensuring continuity and engagement when teaching staff are absent. This role offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent opportunities, perfect for an adaptable and committed individual ready to contribute to a thriving school community.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise pupils across various subjects, ensuring they remain on task with set work.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, upholding school policies and promoting a respectful environment.
* Respond to pupil queries and provide support to facilitate their learning.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents during lessons.
* Liaise effectively with teaching staff and other colleagues regarding pupil progress and welfare.
* Ensure a safe and organised learning space for all pupils.

About You
* Possess prior experience working with young people in an educational setting.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Exhibit strong behaviour management techniques and a confident classroom presence.
* Be highly organised, proactive, and adaptable to changing timetables.
* Hold a genuine passion for supporting pupil learning and development.
* Be committed to upholding the school's values and fostering a positive educational experience.
