An inclusive secondary school in Hertfordshire is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher. This permanent, full-time position is available for a September start, or sooner for the ideal candidate. You will be instrumental in inspiring students across the secondary phase, fostering a deep understanding and enthusiasm for Physics, alongside a strong specialism in Chemistry. This role welcomes applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced educators at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS). Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging Physics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
* Cultivate a dynamic and supportive classroom atmosphere where all students can thrive.
* Accurately assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback for development.
* Contribute proactively to the ongoing enhancement of the science curriculum, particularly in Physics and Chemistry.
* Participate enthusiastically in departmental meetings and broader school initiatives.
* Implement school policies effectively to maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK educational system.
* You possess a strong degree in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline, complemented by a solid background in Chemistry.
* You are adept at creating innovative and accessible learning experiences for young people.
* You demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships.
* You are deeply committed to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
