We are seeking a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher to join our pool of professionals, providing invaluable support across various secondary specialist SEN settings on a daily supply and short-term basis. This pivotal role involves covering classes and delivering an adapted curriculum, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive educational experience for pupils with diverse special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across an adapted secondary curriculum for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and can thrive.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies effectively to meet specific learning objectives.
* Collaborate proactively with teaching assistants and school staff to ensure comprehensive pupil support.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management, promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
* Provide consistent feedback and contribute to the ongoing assessment of pupil progress and development.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess demonstrable experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs in a secondary school setting.
* Exhibit exceptional adaptability and resilience, thriving in varied school environments and classroom dynamics.
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of pupils with SEN.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
