About the Role
A forward-thinking school in the West Midlands is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its vibrant secondary department on a permanent, long-term contract, commencing September 2026. This is a unique opportunity to shape the scientific understanding of young minds, fostering a passion for discovery across all three core sciences. You will be instrumental in developing engaging lessons that challenge students to explore, question, and excel within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver challenging, high-quality Science lessons across key stages, accommodating diverse learning needs.
* Inspire students to achieve their full potential in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through innovative teaching methodologies.
* Assess and monitor student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine an ambitious Science curriculum that sparks intellectual curiosity.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community, participating in extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives.
* Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment where scientific exploration thrives.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in a Science discipline.
* Possess a genuine passion for Science and the ability to convey complex concepts with clarity and enthusiasm.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, fostering an inclusive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Be adept at differentiating instruction to cater for a wide range of abilities and learning styles.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and contributing to a dynamic departmental team.
