About the Role
A flourishing school in the heart of Berkshire is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join its thriving department. This permanent position offers the chance to deliver engaging lessons across the secondary key stages, fostering a love for literature and language in every pupil. We are looking for an individual ready to make a significant impact from September, or potentially sooner, on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of all assigned students, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of a dynamic English curriculum.
* Maintain a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.
* Support pupils in developing strong literacy skills and a lifelong appreciation for the English language.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT), Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) candidate.
* Possess a genuine passion for English language and literature, able to inspire young people.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards.
* Be a collaborative team player, eager to contribute positively to a supportive school community.
* Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for English at secondary level.
* Be dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment where every pupil can excel.
