About the Role
An exceptional school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join their thriving department on a Long Term, Permanent contract, commencing on 1st September 2026. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to inspire secondary-level students with a love for scientific discovery and critical thinking. You will be instrumental in fostering a dynamic learning environment where pupils can explore the wonders of biology, chemistry, and physics.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across various key stages, ensuring curriculum breadth and depth.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their development.
* Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and academic achievement.
* Contribute proactively to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings, school-wide initiatives, and professional development sessions.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement, adhering to school policies.

About You
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification for secondary education.
* Possesses a strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach across secondary age groups.
* Demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young minds in scientific principles and methodologies.
* Committed to fostering an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and supported to thrive.
* Capable of differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, whether an Early Career Teacher, Main Pay Scale, or Upper Pay Scale.
* Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
