Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging Physics and Science lessons that challenge pupils to explore complex concepts.
* Inspire intellectual curiosity and scientific inquiry, encouraging students to question, investigate, and understand the physical world.
* Accurately assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback that supports their academic growth and addresses learning gaps.
* Contribute actively to a vibrant Science department, collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
* Uphold high standards of classroom management and student welfare, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
* Mentor students effectively, guiding them through their academic journey and encouraging their personal development.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a specialism in Physics, alongside the ability to teach general Science at secondary level.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to inspire and challenge pupils, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for scientific principles.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
* Exhibit outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.

* This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced educators at Main Pay Scale (MPS) and Upper Pay Scale (UPS) levels.
