This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to secure a long-term, permanent contract starting in September 2026, contributing significantly to a dynamic learning environment where every student is encouraged to excel in digital literacy and computational thinking.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Computing lessons across the secondary curriculum, inspiring pupils of all abilities.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
* Assess and monitor student progress thoroughly, providing constructive feedback to support individual development journeys.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development and implementation of a broad and balanced Computing curriculum.
* Participate positively in departmental meetings, whole-school initiatives, and extracurricular activities.
* Utilise a diverse range of pedagogical approaches to meet the varying learning needs of all pupils within the secondary phase.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching Computing at secondary level.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for digital education and inspiring young minds with technological advancements.
* Applications are warmly invited from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced colleagues on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
* Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere for all pupils.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships within the school community.
