We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join a forward-thinking school within the Primary phase. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated educator to shape early years learning, with various contract options available including long term, short term, daily supply, or a permanent position. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced educators at Main Pay Scale (MPS) and Upper Pay Scale (UPS), offering a competitive salary paid to scale, with a start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a rich, engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity and development.
* Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of all pupils, identifying next steps.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support holistic child development.
* Maintain high standards of classroom organisation and resource management.
* Implement positive behaviour management strategies consistently to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) relevant for the UK.
* Possess a genuine passion for early years education and child development.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience within the EYFS framework, or show a keen enthusiasm as an ECT.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing atmosphere.
* Be an effective communicator, capable of building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
