We have flexible contract options available, including Long Term, Daily Supply, Short Term, and Permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120. Key Responsibilities
* Provide attentive support to primary pupils identified with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies during challenging moments, ensuring pupil safety and wellbeing.
* Act as a mentor, guiding pupils in developing positive coping mechanisms and social skills.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, encouraging their engagement and progress.
* Support the class teacher in delivering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
* Assist with the preparation of resources and adapt activities to meet individual pupil needs.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children with complex SEMH needs.
* Demonstrable experience working within an SEN setting, ideally with SEMH pupils, is essential.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport effectively with pupils and staff.
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach to challenging behaviours defines your professional character.
