About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join a highly regarded school in Peterborough, specialising in primary SEN provision. This long-term, permanent role involves providing essential support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties within a specialist PMLD environment, starting as soon as possible. You will play a crucial part in fostering a nurturing and stimulating educational experience for children who require significant additional support.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care routines with dignity and respect.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to promote development.
* Implement specific therapy programmes as directed by specialists.
* Support the use of communication aids and strategies effectively.
* Contribute proactively to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

* You possess prior experience supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
