A progressive school is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join its vibrant early years team, offering various contract opportunities from long-term to permanent, alongside daily supply and short-term work. This pivotal role involves nurturing the youngest learners, fostering a secure and stimulating environment where children aged 0-5 can thrive and develop crucial foundational skills. You will play an instrumental part in shaping early childhood experiences, contributing to a collaborative and supportive setting, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £95 to £110.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide attentive care and supervision for children within the nursery setting.
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote holistic development.
* Assist with personal care routines, including meal times, nappy changing, and rest periods.
* Contribute actively to maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
* Observe and accurately record children's progress, sharing insights with the wider team.
* Foster positive and respectful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their formative years.
* You have previous experience in an early years setting, demonstrating a clear commitment to childcare.
* You understand the developmental needs and stages of children aged 0-5.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adapting to various stakeholders effectively.
