This exciting opportunity invites a dedicated Secondary Supply Teacher to join a dynamic school community, offering flexible roles across a network of mainstream secondary schools in the Hertfordshire area. You will deliver engaging cover lessons across various subjects, adapting swiftly to new environments and pupil groups. We are seeking professionals eager to embrace the variety of daily, short-term, long-term, and potentially permanent contracts, commencing as soon as possible, with competitive rates between £145 and £160 per day.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective pre-planned lessons across diverse subjects.
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment for all pupils.
* Implement school behaviour policies consistently and fairly.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils at all times.
* Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
* Provide clear and constructive feedback to pupils where appropriate.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent relevant teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate recent experience working effectively within secondary school settings.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management and behaviour guidance skills.
* Showcase a high degree of adaptability and flexibility when facing new challenges.
* Possess a genuine passion for inspiring and supporting secondary school pupils.
* Hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS check, or be willing to apply for one.
