About the Role
Step into a pivotal support role within a dynamic school, where you will play an essential part in maintaining an engaging and productive learning environment for secondary pupils. As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the unique opportunity to positively impact student progress across various subjects, ensuring continuity of education in the absence of the class teacher. This role offers flexible contract options, from daily supply to long-term positions, providing a fantastic chance to experience a vibrant school setting in Buckinghamshire, with a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160, starting as soon as you're available.

Key Responsibilities
• Effectively supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Facilitate the completion of pre-set work, ensuring pupils remain on task and focused.
• Implement established school behaviour policies to maintain a positive and orderly classroom atmosphere.
• Respond proactively to pupil questions and provide general assistance to support their learning.
• Foster a respectful and inclusive environment that encourages pupil engagement.
• Report back to relevant staff regarding pupil progress and any notable incidents.

About You
• Possess prior experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management strategies and the ability to command respect.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils and staff.
• Are adaptable and resilient, capable of thriving in varied classroom situations.
• Hold a professional and proactive approach to supporting pupil learning and school operations.
• Are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive educational experience for all.
