Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored specialist support to primary pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Implement effective structured routines to promote predictability and comfort for pupils.
* Utilise a range of sensory strategies to support engagement and regulation within the provision.
* Facilitate and enhance communication, employing various techniques suited to individual pupil needs.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and the SENCo to develop and review pupil support plans.
* Contribute to creating a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere for all pupils.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting the development and well-being of primary-aged pupils with ASD.
* Experience working within an educational setting, particularly with pupils requiring specialist SEN support, is highly desirable.
* You demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* A proactive and adaptable approach is essential, alongside a commitment to continuous professional development in SEN practices.
* You are patient, empathetic, and skilled in managing diverse learning needs with creativity and understanding.
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dedicated team environment is crucial.
