Key Responsibilities
* Offer dedicated support to primary pupils experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours proactively.
* Build strong, positive, and trusting relationships with pupils to encourage their personal growth.
* Mentor young learners, guiding them through emotional regulation and social interactions.
* Assist in the delivery of engaging and accessible learning activities.
* Contribute to creating a safe and supportive educational environment for all pupils.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children with special educational needs.
* Demonstrate previous experience working with pupils exhibiting social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic educational setting.
* Hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with pupils and colleagues.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute positively to a dedicated team.
* Show commitment to continuous professional development and best practice in SEN support.
