About the Role
A highly regarded school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their thriving secondary department on a long-term, permanent contract. This exciting opportunity is available for a September start, or sooner for the right candidate, and welcomes applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced colleagues on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS). You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive Science lessons across all key stages, fostering a love for discovery and learning in every pupil. This role offers a chance to contribute significantly to a vibrant academic community, shaping young minds in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, inspiring Science lessons to secondary pupils.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
* Contribute proactively to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum.
* Participate in departmental meetings and wider school activities, fostering teamwork.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your care, adhering to school policies.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a specialism in any Science discipline.
* A genuine passion for Science and a commitment to making the subject accessible for all pupils is essential.
* You can effectively differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners.
* Excellent classroom management skills ensure a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* You are dedicated to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills allow for positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
