We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school community. This long-term, permanent opportunity, with remuneration paid to scale, is available for a September start, or sooner. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced professionals (MPS/UPS) eager to inspire pupils in all aspects of DT.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging Design and Technology lessons across various key stages.
* Assessing student progress effectively and providing constructive, timely feedback.
* Fostering a creative and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
* Managing classroom resources and ensuring the safe use of workshop equipment.
* Contributing actively to the department's curriculum development and extra-curricular offerings.
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
