About the Role
A highly regarded mainstream primary school in the vibrant Berkshire area is actively seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This fulfilling role offers a unique opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of young learners requiring additional support, contributing significantly to their educational journey and personal growth. We are seeking individuals available for an immediate start, with flexible contract options ranging from long-term and short-term positions to daily supply or even a permanent engagement, providing excellent stability and varied experience.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated one-to-one or small group support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs within a primary setting.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities tailored to individual pupil requirements.
* Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued.
* Support pupils' social and emotional development, fostering their independence and confidence.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and other relevant professionals.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies effectively.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs and enhancing their learning experiences.
* Previous experience working with primary-aged pupils with SEN in an educational setting is highly desirable.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach is essential, coupled with the ability to adapt to diverse pupil needs.
* You are a proactive team player, eager to collaborate effectively with teaching staff and external professionals.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children is paramount.
