We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a progressive school community in Buckinghamshire. This vital role involves providing exceptional support to primary-aged children with a range of Special Educational Needs, fostering an inclusive learning environment for every pupil. You will be instrumental in nurturing individual growth and development within a supportive team setting, with flexible contract options available, offering a competitive daily rate between £95 and £110. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils with Special Educational Needs, both individually and in small groups.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities.
* Help create and maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
* Support pupils' social and emotional development, promoting independence and confidence.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support pupil well-being.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs in a primary setting.
* You have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEN pupils.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships.
* You are patient, resilient, and adaptable, ready to embrace new challenges daily.
* You hold a relevant qualification or have a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs.
* You are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive school atmosphere.
