About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join a supportive school environment within the South East. We are seeking an inspiring educator to deliver engaging DT lessons across the secondary phase. This long-term, permanent role offers the chance to shape young minds from September, or potentially sooner, with remuneration paid to scale. You will be instrumental in fostering creativity and practical skills in our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
* Cultivate an inspiring learning environment for Design and Technology across various key stages.
* Plan and deliver innovative DT lessons that ignite pupil curiosity and practical application.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.
* Manage and maintain a safe, organised workshop, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development of the DT curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Foster a passion for design, technology, and engineering principles amongst all learners.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a profound passion for Design and Technology.
* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge across various DT specialisms, suitable for secondary education.
* Exhibit exceptional classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Be adept at differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
* Show a strong commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Thrive in a collaborative team, contributing positively to departmental and whole-school objectives.
