We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join a well-established school community on a long-term, permanent contract from September 2026. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Develop innovative schemes of work that cater to diverse learning styles.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Maintain a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment.
* Contribute actively to the broader Science department initiatives and extracurricular activities.
* Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued and encouraged to excel.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a specialism in Chemistry.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Chemistry and its effective communication to young people.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a love of learning.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and contributing to a collaborative team.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced educators (MPS/UPS).
