About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring Chemistry Teacher to join a inclusive school known for its vibrant learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our successful Science department on a permanent, long-term contract, commencing from September 2026. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a love for scientific discovery and academic excellence among our secondary pupils.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and challenging Chemistry lessons across the secondary key stages.
* Plan and prepare comprehensive schemes of work and lesson plans, aligning with national curriculum standards.
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science department's curriculum.
* Maintain a stimulating and safe classroom environment conducive to learning and scientific inquiry.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and school-wide events, enriching the pupil experience.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Chemistry and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
* Possess excellent subject knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
* Be adept at creating an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere for all pupils.
* Have a proven track record of effective classroom management and fostering positive pupil behaviour.
* Show enthusiasm for continuous professional development and contributing to a collaborative team.
