An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated MFL Teacher specialising in French and Spanish to join a thriving secondary school. This long-term, permanent position commences in September 2026 and offers a fantastic chance to contribute to a dynamic Modern Foreign Languages department. You will be instrumental in fostering a love for languages among pupils, delivering engaging and effective lessons across all key stages.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in French and Spanish across the secondary curriculum.
* Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their linguistic development.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the MFL curriculum, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel empowered to learn and practise new languages.
* Collaborate effectively with departmental colleagues to share best practise and resources.
* Participate in wider school activities, supporting the holistic development of pupils.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
* Demonstrate the ability to teach French and Spanish effectively to secondary school pupils, up to Key Stage 5 where applicable.
* Possess a genuine passion for languages and a commitment to inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.
