This crucial role involves providing tailored support to pupils on the autism spectrum, implementing structured routines, and facilitating effective communication strategies. We are looking for individuals available for a variety of contracts, from daily supply and short-term cover to long-term and permanent positions, with an immediate start available. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating a nurturing and accessible learning environment where every child can thrive, earning £90 - £115 per day.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualised support for primary pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder within a specialist setting.
* Implement and maintain structured routines to create a predictable and supportive learning environment.
* Utilise effective sensory strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
* Facilitate and enhance communication through various methods, including visual aids and PECS.
* Support pupils' social and emotional development, fostering positive interactions.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and therapists to adapt learning materials and activities.

* You possess proven experience working with primary-aged children on the autism spectrum.
* You demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to pupil support.
