Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging Design Technology lessons tailored to diverse secondary student needs.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students effectively.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every student can thrive.
* Contribute proactively to the ongoing development and review of the DT curriculum and departmental schemes of work.
* Maintain a safe and organised workshop and classroom, ensuring all equipment is used responsibly.
* Engage with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being, promoting a collaborative approach.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a strong academic background in Design Technology.
* Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to embark on a fulfilling career, or an experienced practitioner at MPS/UPS levels seeking new challenges.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for Design Technology, capable of inspiring and motivating secondary students.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
