About the Role
At a exceptional school, we are seeking a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher to support secondary-aged pupils across various specialist settings within the Bedfordshire area. This challenging and profoundly rewarding role involves delivering adapted curriculum content and providing immediate support on a daily supply or short-term basis, ensuring continuity of learning for young people with diverse special educational needs. You will step into dynamic classrooms, offering crucial cover and making a tangible impact on student progress from day one.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to the specific needs of secondary pupils with SEN.
* Adapt teaching methods effectively to support individual learning styles and overcome unique challenges.
* Maintain a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
* Collaborate constructively with teaching assistants and other support staff to enhance learning outcomes.
* Implement proactive behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
* Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils under your care remains a top priority.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate proven experience of working with secondary-aged pupils in Special Educational Needs settings.
* Exhibit outstanding adaptability and resilience when transitioning between different school environments.
* Show a genuine passion for supporting pupils with complex learning needs to achieve their full potential.
* Communicate effectively and empathetically with pupils, colleagues, and parents/carers.
* Be available for flexible daily supply and short-term bookings in the Dunstable region.
