About the Role
Join a forward-thinking school in Essex seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support its vibrant student community. This dynamic role involves managing classrooms and facilitating student learning across various subjects when teachers are absent, offering an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact. We are looking for an individual available for immediate start, with contract options ranging from daily supply and short-term assignments to long-term placements or even a permanent position, all at a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise whole classes, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work.
* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment for all pupils.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies and procedures.
* Foster student engagement and encourage independent learning.
* Provide support to students, addressing queries and offering assistance where necessary.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your supervision.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience of working with secondary-aged pupils.
* You have a strong ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
* Your communication and interpersonal skills are exemplary.
* You are proactive, organised, and able to adapt quickly to different situations.
* You show resilience and a calm approach in a busy school setting.
* You are genuinely passionate about supporting young people's educational journey.
