About the Role
This rewarding opportunity involves providing dedicated 1:1 support to a primary-aged pupil with complex special educational needs within a supportive school environment. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning experience, building strong rapport with the child, and assisting with their developmental progress. This position offers flexibility, with options for long-term, daily supply, or permanent engagement, commencing as soon as possible. Your commitment will be valued, and you will receive a competitive daily rate ranging from £85 to £110, reflecting your expertise.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide highly tailored 1:1 support to a primary-aged pupil displaying complex special educational needs.
* Establish a strong, trusting rapport with the pupil to facilitate their engagement and wellbeing.
* Accurately implement individualised education plan (EHCP) targets, adapting strategies as required.
* Collaborate effectively with external therapists and specialists, integrating their recommendations into daily practice.
* Assist the pupil with personal care and mobility needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
* Document progress and observations diligently, contributing to ongoing assessments and reviews.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with complex special educational needs, such as ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairments.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for making a significant difference to the lives of pupils requiring additional support.
* Display exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with children, staff, and external professionals.
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience when navigating diverse learning challenges.
* Hold a proactive and adaptable approach to supporting individual pupil needs and educational targets.
* Thrive within a collaborative team setting whilst also confidently managing independent responsibilities.
