We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-established primary school community. This vital role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they thrive within an inclusive learning environment. We offer flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £95 to £110. You will play a crucial part in nurturing the academic and personal growth of young learners, contributing significantly to their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, both individually and in small groups.
* Assist in the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and individual learning programmes.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other support staff to meet pupil needs.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
* Encourage the development of social skills and independent learning strategies among students.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs in a primary setting.
* Previous experience working with SEN pupils is highly desirable.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
