Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging Biology lessons tailored to the curriculum requirements.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils feel empowered to achieve.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum, integrating innovative teaching practices.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced educators at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for Biology and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
* An ability to foster a positive and productive learning atmosphere is essential.
* You are an organised professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A collaborative approach to working within a dynamic team is highly valued.
