About the Role
A supportive school in the Berkhamsted area is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their dynamic team, starting as soon as possible. This pivotal role involves overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for young people. You will be instrumental in maintaining educational continuity across various subjects, fostering an atmosphere conducive to student engagement and progress. This position offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £145 to £160, reflecting your valuable contribution to student development.

Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, upholding a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Deliver pre-set work to students across diverse subjects, facilitating independent learning.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your supervision throughout the school day.
* Encourage student engagement and participation in assigned tasks, inspiring their best efforts.
* Liaise appropriately with departmental staff regarding student progress or any observed concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents, adhering to school procedures.
