Key Responsibilities
* Implement highly individualised structured routines to ensure a predictable and supportive learning environment.
* Develop and apply effective sensory strategies designed to meet the specific needs of pupils with autism.
* Provide targeted communication support, utilising various methods to enhance pupil engagement and expression.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers to adapt learning materials and activities, promoting inclusivity.
* Monitor and accurately record pupil progress, contributing valuable insights to assessment and planning discussions.
* Promote independence and social skills development amongst primary-aged children on the autism spectrum.
