This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated educator to join a respected primary school with a specialist SEN focus. We are seeking a passionate SEN Class Teacher to lead a small group of pupils, each with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This role involves adapting the national curriculum to meet diverse individual learning needs and fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment. Collaboration with teaching assistants, therapists, and families is central to delivering outstanding personalised learning experiences. Various contract options are available, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent placements, with an immediate start possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' EHCPs.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously and report effectively on individual achievements.
* Cultivate a positive and stimulating learning environment for all children.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals.
* Maintain strong communication channels with parents and carers regarding pupil development.
* Contribute actively to the wider life and ethos of our vibrant school community.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a genuine passion for SEN education.
* You demonstrate a deep understanding of primary SEN pedagogy and best practices.
* You are adept at adapting curriculum content to support a range of complex needs.
* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
