Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate engaging and age-appropriate learning activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, promoting curiosity and discovery.
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support, addressing diverse learning needs and encouraging active participation from all pupils.
* Implement effective strategies to support children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring their inclusion and progress within the classroom.
* Contribute to maintaining a safe, organised, and inspiring classroom environment that fosters independence and positive behaviour.
* Collaborate closely with the class teacher and wider support staff to plan and deliver high-quality educational experiences.
* Assist with observations and assessments, accurately documenting children's achievements and developmental milestones to inform future planning.
About You
* Possess a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and its practical application.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for early childhood development and an unwavering commitment to nurturing young learners.
* Exhibit proven experience supporting children with diverse learning needs, including those requiring SEN provision.
* Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Maintain a resilient and patient approach, consistently seeking innovative solutions to daily classroom challenges.
