This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a dedicated school in the Harpenden area of Hertfordshire. You will be instrumental in maintaining an engaging learning environment across various subjects in a secondary setting. We are seeking individuals interested in long-term, short-term, daily supply, or even permanent positions, offering flexibility to suit your career aspirations. This rewarding role, commencing ASAP, offers a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.
Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Ensure students are engaged with and complete work set by the absent teacher.
* Build strong, professional relationships with students and colleagues.
* Uphold all school policies and procedures consistently.
* Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any incidents during lessons.
* Supervise students during non-contact time, such as lunch or break duties, as required.
About You
* You possess proven experience within a secondary school setting, ideally as a Cover Supervisor.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management and behavioural guidance skills.
* You are highly adaptable and thrive in varied educational environments.
