We are seeking an inspirational Maths Teacher for a long-term or permanent contract, starting in September or sooner, to deliver engaging and effective lessons across all key stages. This is an exceptional opportunity for an Early Career Teacher, or an experienced professional at Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale, to contribute significantly to our thriving Maths department.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated Maths lessons that challenge and inspire all pupils.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students, providing timely feedback.
* Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and motivated.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development and review of the Maths curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Uphold the school's robust safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all young people.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student achievement and well-being.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching Maths and inspiring a love of learning in young people.
* Possess excellent subject knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
* Exhibit strong classroom management skills, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Be adept at differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
