An ambitious school is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Class Teacher to join its vibrant Early Years Foundation Stage team. This pivotal role involves nurturing young learners as they embark on their educational journey, fostering curiosity and foundational skills in a supportive environment. We welcome applications for various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or a permanent position, starting as soon as possible, offering excellent flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
* Create a stimulating and safe classroom environment conducive to active learning and exploration.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support for individual development.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality EYFS provision.
* Communicate regularly with parents and carers, fostering strong home-school partnerships.
* Safeguard the welfare of all children, upholding school policies and procedures diligently.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering holistic development.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building rapport with children, parents, and staff.
* Be adaptable and resilient, thriving within a dynamic and supportive school community.
* Applications are encouraged from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as those at Main Pay Scale (MPS) and Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
