Key Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist, individualised support to primary pupils diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Implement highly structured routines and create predictable learning environments to aid pupil understanding.
* Utilise a range of sensory strategies effectively to promote engagement, regulation, and a positive learning experience.
* Facilitate and enhance communication skills using bespoke approaches tailored to each pupil's needs.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to ensure consistent delivery of individualised education plans.
* Monitor pupil progress meticulously, contributing valuable observations to ongoing assessments and reviews.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting primary-aged children specifically on the autism spectrum.
* Hold a robust understanding of ASD conditions and a proven ability to apply diverse support strategies.
