Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care routines, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to promote learning and development.
* Implement bespoke therapy programmes as directed by specialists, adapting to individual needs.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and therapists to monitor pupil progress and well-being.
* Contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Demonstrate experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with PMLD.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic educational setting.
* Hold a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
* Possess excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development.
