We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a highly regarded school in Buckinghamshire, within the South East region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a permanent position, with a start date in September or potentially sooner for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across the secondary phase, contributing to a vibrant learning environment. The role offers a competitive salary, paid to scale, and is open to Early Career Teachers as well as more experienced educators at MPS and UPS levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver inspiring and effective English lessons to secondary students, fostering a love for the subject.
* Plan, prepare, and assess student work thoroughly, ensuring progress and attainment.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to active learning.
* Monitor individual student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
* Contribute proactively to the development and implementation of the English curriculum.
* Participate fully in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives, enhancing the school community.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate a strong academic background in English or a closely related field.
* Exhibit proven ability to teach English effectively across the full secondary age range.
* Show excellent classroom management skills and a genuine passion for student success.
* Display a steadfast commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
