About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cover Supervisor to join an innovative school located in the thriving Slough area of Berkshire, within the South East region. This crucial role involves maintaining continuity of learning across the secondary phase by providing effective classroom supervision during teacher absences. Opportunities are available for immediate starts, with contract options ranging from daily supply and short-term assignments to long-term placements or even permanent roles, offering a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise secondary school classes across various subjects during planned and unplanned teacher absence.
* Deliver pre-prepared work to students, ensuring clear understanding and task completion.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policy and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
* Maintain a safe, orderly, and productive environment for all pupils throughout the school day.
* Provide constructive feedback to students on their engagement and report on class progress to relevant staff.
* Support the school's commitment to continuous pupil development and high educational standards.

* Possess strong classroom management and organisational skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
* Demonstrate excellent communication abilities, engaging effectively with young people and staff alike.
* Be highly adaptable and resilient, thriving within a dynamic and fast-paced educational setting.
* Show a genuine passion for supporting student learning and contributing to pupil well-being.
* Exhibit a professional and positive approach to all aspects of school life and responsibilities.
* Previous experience in a supervisory, educational support, or youth-focused role is highly desirable.
