About the Role
We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated Science Teacher to join a progressive school on a permanent, long-term contract from September 2026. This pivotal role involves fostering a deep curiosity and passion for scientific discovery among secondary pupils, nurturing their understanding across all key stages within a dynamic learning environment. You will be instrumental in delivering an engaging and comprehensive Science curriculum, contributing significantly to pupil success and the school's vibrant academic culture.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, inspiring Science lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their continuous development.
* Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all pupils feel empowered to explore scientific concepts.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development and review of the Science curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
* Inspire a lifelong love for Science, encouraging critical thinking and practical application.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong academic background in Science (any specialism is welcome).
* You are capable of teaching Science effectively across the secondary age range, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
* You demonstrate an unwavering passion for your subject and a commitment to innovative teaching methodologies.
* You possess excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning environment.
* You are a collaborative team player, eager to contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking Science department.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced educators at MPS and UPS levels.
