Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver highly engaging Science lessons across the secondary key stages, catering to diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement creative teaching materials and resources that stimulate intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
• Assess pupil progress regularly, providing comprehensive feedback to support academic achievement and personal growth.
• Contribute actively to the vibrant departmental community, participating in collaborative planning and curriculum development.
• Organise and lead extracurricular science activities or clubs, enriching the pupil experience beyond the classroom.
• Maintain an organised, safe, and stimulating learning environment where every pupil feels supported to succeed.

About You
• You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in a Science specialism.
• You demonstrate a genuine passion for Science education, inspiring pupils to explore and understand the world around them.
• You have the ability to motivate and engage pupils across a range of abilities, fostering a love for learning.
• You are committed to your own continuous professional development, always seeking new ways to enhance your practice.
• You possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• You are either an enthusiastic ECT/NQT ready to embark on a fulfilling career or an experienced teacher (MPS/UPS) seeking a new challenge.
